Four 
eggs are hatched and the fifth, the last one has due day today !Mom has changed sitting place, so it's now easier to see.

I think saw two oldiest ones under Mom's wing and they both had eyes still closed. The first chick has hatched 1'st May, so we can wait for eyes opening the next few days.

All five eggs are hatched here, properly I've seen four chicks. Mom is out some times, meanwhiles the chicks are one fluffy bundle! The oldiest has eyes opened.

From yesterday: dad is waited .. there he comes and brings a fine treat to mom.
Today: all five chicks can be seen , they all have made it so far!

5 days gone since last message - three barn owlets are doing fine. Their round faces and typical heads are becoming more like adult barn owls.

It has been very happy evening today by Heligan Barn Owls! Just read that the youngest returned safely back home after been missing over a day long (from yesterday noon). Also read that he had earlier felled down twice from the nest balcony. Happily not injured.
